MEET RHI OUR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Who is your greatest ally in embracing equity?

I have many allies in my life, but my greatest ally would have to be my dad. He has always embraced all gender roles within the family dynamic, never afraid to attempt a French braid. He encourages me to pursue what I want to achieve my goals, guiding me with a helping hand. It’s for these reasons that he’s the ally that my friends and I will go to for advice.

MEET SAMI OUR PRODUCT DEVELOPER

What does equity in the workplace look like in the future?

Equity in future will promote fairness between individuals, by giving everyone the same opportunities regardless of identifying gender, age, or nationality. Across all aspects I’d love to see continued growth to create balance in the workplace to reach equality for all.

MEET BETH OUR MARKETING MANAGER

How do you embrace equity in your everyday life?

I’m still learning how to forge equity in the everyday, but I know that embracing it needs to be a conscious decision, knowing that each person has different circumstances we need to allocate the required resources and opportunities to reach an equal outcome. So, I actively try to seek out inclusion in all aspects of my work and personal life.

MEET MICHELLE OUR DESIGN ASSISTANT

How do you push the boundaries of gender stereotypes?

I’m not sure if I knowingly push boundaries but I would say I like to express all sides of myself through what I wear, depending on how I feel each day. One day I’m in the mood to dress ultra femme and the next I opt for a 90’s tom boy aesthetic. I think it’s important to explore, express, and reflect because humans are more complex than simple stereotypes. In the end all I can say is to not get too caught up on labels but to focus on your true self and to go from there.
