THE SPRING DRESSING REPORT

14 Sep 2023

As nature awakens from its winter sleep, so too does our wardrobe. Spring offers the perfect canvas for a reinvention of your style, with a palette of vibrant hues, lightweight fabrics and versatile outfits suitable for the heat of the sun, and the cooler chill of a breeze. JAG offers an array of spring outfit ideas that easily blend comfort with elegance and a touch of seasonal whimsy. From versatile layering options to statement all-in-one pieces designed to last from this spring to the next, join us for an overview of your must-have spring outfits.

SET DRESSING:

The best part about spring is that you can have fun with your style without having to wear endless layers just to stay warm. JAG has an array of new season matching sets made to be worn together to offer a striking yet comfortable outfit made to keep you comfortable. Our Mia Garaarr Lounge Shirt comes complete with a pair of matching pants for an outfit that can be worn as a matching set with a white or black rib tank underneath for a complimentary style. For warmer days, our Linen Puff Sleeve Shirt can be paired with our Gigi Linen Shorts for a cohesive outfit. JAG has no shortage of two-piece sets to refine your spring style.

LINEN BLAZERS:

The right linen blazer offers endless styling opportunities. Made to be a frequently worn item, a linen blazer with workwear, with jeans or over your knitted midi dress offers the perfect balance in your springtime style. The textural appearance of linen fabric introduces a relaxed element into your style that is perfect in springtime, making this item a key investment this season. Wear yours with our Christy Linen Skirt for an all-linen style, or with our Maya Linen Utility Pants for a more balanced outfit.

TRANSEASONAL DRESSES:

When you’re rushing out the door, a dress is your best go-to option for weekday to weekend outfits that can easily be thrown on. A simple all-in-one style, dresses can easily be elevated or made casual with the right accessories. Choose from a range of breathable fabrics and unique hues to do spring your own way with JAG; whether it’s mini, midi or maxi length.

Our Yawa-Li cutout maxi dress has been a standout print and cut so far this season. Designed by yuwaalaraay artist and design collaborator Lucy Simpson, the print is inspired by visual storytelling drawn from the Australian landscape.

Our Poppy Linen Dress is perfect for a coffee by the beach, while our Kiki Elastic Strap Dress is more suited to weeknight outings, paired back with our leather jacket and handbag. Step into the sun with our Linen Cutout Maxi Dress, or go simple with our Heidi Rib Tank Dress and a leather jacket for a textural and unique outfit.

See who's been wearing our poppy linen dress.

PRINT SHIRTS:

Inject a playful touch into your style with a printed shirt. This style is an easy way to refine your personal aesthetic, and to showcase more of your personality. Made from lightweight linens and durable cottons, JAG’s printed shirts have been made to pair easily with jeans, chinos or linen pants — making them an ideal choice for spring.
